CHALLENGE

AVATAR DA SAÚDE, a company in the health and well-being sector, emerged with the aim of improving the management of medical plans, after realizing the difficulties that companies had in implementing health programs for beneficiaries of the medical plan. All with the ultimate goal of keeping a greater number of people healthy.

The organization’s idea is to keep access to health information available to everyone, in a fast, secure, and interactive way. As well as providing guidance, based on the 7 pillars of health, essential for comprehensive well-being.

Driven by the purpose of improving health in companies, the idea of creating a digital health application was born, with the purpose of generating improvements in the lives of each employee in different organizations.

Solution

The entire health process was a great challenge for MadeinWeb. To achieve greater data assertiveness and transform healthcare through a highly customized solution, we connected IBM’s artificial intelligence, Watson.

This was a challenging step: we reversed the way Watson works, performing the data pass processing. We taught Watson to ask questions through the various medical stages of its users, generating accurate results, which made the solution unique.

There were also other important data integrated into this solution, namely PBM, absenteeism, absences, and health programs. All of this data is centrally integrated and compiled, generating unique results. The application focused on the digital experience while allowing people to change their routines and make their lives healthier.

Results

  • The application already has more than 400 thousand users on iOS and Android platforms.
  • The solution won the PITCH SABESP contest, with the participation of 585 Startups, in the area of sanitation and health management.
  • The implementation of this application generated a significant drop in the amount that companies pay to insurance companies, avoiding more expensive treatments and emergencies for more specific procedures.
  • The tool increased the utilization rate and centralized the personalized information of each patient, facilitating the general monitoring of their health.
